Civil War Stories
Civil War Stories Ok so everyone has civil war stories what are your favorites? I have many that I like... For example: During the war there was shootout in the mathaf and a school bus was passing, a teacher jumped out of the window and kept her children in the bus... That says a lot. Also once an army truck was passing through the mathaf the christian militiamen told the christian soldiers to leave and they were gonna kill the rest, but the christian soldiers stayed and all the soldiers passed after some calls were made During 82 my parents were heading to Jordan and they were heading outside of Beirut (they lived in west beirut) So the Kataeb militiaman at the crossing said they can't pass, then something happened that distracted the guy (a fight I think) and my Dad crossed and the guy didn't notice, but that's not the lucky thing, at the next the other militia guy didn't notice that they had their passports (they used to take them at the first checkpoint) and he let them pass! Once two militias were fighting in Hamra and during the night there was a lot of heavy shooting, and the next day after the fighting my friends grandma hears one guy telling the other gang "Biddkoun mnieche?" !!! In 1982 kamen my uncle had a restaurant and when the Isrealis used to buy food they used to actually pay, while the palestians didn't usually pay! Civil War Stories civil stories war |
